2012 Reed's Creek Clean Up
Stacks Image 29
The Lake Norman Remodelers Council teamed up with Scouts from pack 316 and the Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists to clean up the wetland areas at Reed's Creek.

The wetlands project is located on 15 acres on Reed's Creek and adjacent land between N.C. Highway 21 and Lake Norman, just North of Exit 33 on I-77, and immediately South of the new Cypress Landing Town Homes. The goal of the project is to improve water quality, and aquatic and wildlife habitat on the site.

Thanks to the hard work by the scouts we picked up lots of trash and other debris!
Lead RRP Rules
The world changed for remodelers on April 22, 2010, the day that the Lead: Renovation, Repair and Painting regulation took effect. Remodelers now have to change the way they work in pre-1978 homes and child-occupied facilities. Learn how the removal of the Homeowner Opt Out provision may affect your business, what you need to do if you are not yet certified, how to market yourself as lead certified, and answers to the many questions remodelers continue to ask about how to work with the regulation.

For more information about the lead paint rule and what NAHB is doing to help members, visit
